Meghan's Approach
Holistic nutrition
is a whole and complete approach to treating existing and persistent conditions or
health imbalances that may stress the body and/or mind. The body and mind, when in a balanced
state, will function in a healthy, optimal way. It is when the body
and/or mind is out of balance, or in a state of dis-ease, that illness
develops.
My approach is to use
food as medicine wherever possible while incorporating lifestyle
modifications to help bring the body into balance. If necessary,
supplements are also encouraged to fulfill the needs or deficiencies
not being met by the diet or that have been compromised by environmental,
chemical or emotional distress.
